I am also not a fan. But they really surprised me this year with this chronograph. Oh my the longines heritage really left a impression on me !

I struggle to see what that actually means and what difference there is, especially given how Seiko/Epsom is structured.
It just means that Seiko, on its own, will not appear on the dial. The watches will be branded Grand Seiko and not Seiko.
Exactly. Other than Seiko admitting that they know their "fans" are essentially ashamed of them, what difference does it make to the watches?
