Welcome ! Hopefully after hanging long enough in here, it will be tag heuer, texas instruments, luminox, tudor, rolex, casio and oris Cheers
thanks- I'm really on board with a lot of the new stuff from Tag - love the Biver magic touch on the modern TH pieces and keeping rich heritage as well for the purists - I kinda came full circle, back to TH
That's what i am thinking as well. Yes. But to my knowledge Longines still ETA based while Oris is in-house. Depends on how you look at it. Longines is swatch group owned. So ETA can be considered In-House for them. I guess.
I have always loved the blue Longines hands, and this particular complicated dial. I do appreciate the Oris, but it looks to sporty for the comparison. Now, does it really matter if it is in-house?
Now we can start lenghty discussion about this. For me, i dont mind ETA based. I got to admit though, i dont think Sellita is better than ETA. Among all my Tag Heuer l, my Aquaracer is the one that have more +seconds/day.
I don't particularly like either, but I'd choose Zenith for the same reason I'd choose Mercedes over Audi (too many about, largely driven by tossers).
I have a Speedmaster First Omega in Space, a pretty nice watch and @imagwai approved. A Zenith El Primero is on my wish list, but I am not sure when will it come to reality. Both are iconic chronographs. The only issue I have with the Speedmaster is the thousands of variations. The Zenith for me is more premium and exclusive. Some might not like it, but I'd always put a Carrera on top of these two. The non-mutant ones of course.
In here, it is more Mercedes than Audi. But i choose Mercedes any day any month any year over any other cars out there. Die hard... Cheers
I wear tudor pelagos with 5612 mvt and ball spacemaster 2. But my 3 carrera's always on top specially on special occasions.
I've noticed a few of your sporting speedmasters... something I'd like to get for myself at some point. How realistic is it get a decent cal 321 without spending (or orbiting) the earth? And what sort of guide price would you set?
If you go to the site, and click claim it asks you to fill in a captcha. Which then tells you it's "failed" (how - I don't know, as all you do is tick the box to claim you're not a robot), and to authenticate you need to download something from a selection of free apps. Highly suspicious, and I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot barge pole. My guess is it's an attempt to harvest your details, and install malware on your device. Unless someone knows different...
