    Well here's a image of my connected 45 and my fake Aquaracer isn't it disappointing how the gen buckle is scratched to help and was so after a few weeks compared to the face which has been used daily for around 3 months . I suggest TAG use replica clasps going fwd, much better material used

    “much better material used” in your fake Aquaracer? Do you think steel is better than titanium? Steel is harder... but better than titanium? I don’t think so ;)

    Is it better a rubber strap than a leather strap, just because rubber is more water/stain resistant? I don’t think so... at least, we pay three times the rubber strap price to get a leather strap, even when leather is more delicate

    Titanium is a nice, high-tech, lightweight, and expensive material (for sure much more expensive than the steel from a fake watch), but is not very resistant to scratches... I learnt this lesson with my first titanium modular buckle (now attached to the black rubber strap, in the picture), so I was more careful -from day one- with my other titanium buckles, and these other buckles are now in very good condition (like in the blue rubber strap). So titanium is a very good material, but you have to take care of it... as is the case with leather

    BTW, I have ordered a set of “scratch remover” fiberglass pencils to repair/improve my scratched titanium buckle. I’m reporting here how it works!

    So... it works!!! ::psy::

    I bought this “scratch remover” fiberglass pencil by ebay (there are several places offering very similar tools), and it arrived today.

    My oldest titanium buckle was very scratched, so it was the best candidate to test the tool. And the result is amazing!! :thumbsup:

    The buckle before:

    “Brushing” the buckle with the tool (you have to brush the surface in the same direction it was originally brushed), and depending on how deep is the scratch you have to brush more or less times over the scratch. For light scratches, just two or three times is enough.

    And this is the final result. This fiberglass pencil
    is magic! ::love::

    After this first test, I removed other minor scratches in other titanium buckles, and also a big scratch I had in one of the titanium lugs. Now it looks perfect again! :)

    The fiberglass is slightly consumed while you brush the metal, but you can remove many scratches with one of these tools!

    Hi guys,

    Anyone has experience with the watch restarts when you see the swirling balls?

    Really weird. Ran a error report on my watch yesterday. Put it back on the charger over night and today when waking. Watch don't want to turn itself on.

    did this
    1. Press and hold down the power button until watch restarts (about 15 seconds)
    2. During the boot up animations (TAG's logo, Intel's logo, or the swirling balls), press and hold the crown and simultaneously swipe from top left to bottom right, then release crown (You can repeat this process until the screen blacks out and the boot process restarts)
    3. The watch will boot to an image of the Android character on his back. Long press the power button for about 5 seconds and release. You should see the "Android system recovery" menu.
    4. Short press the power button three times to go down the menu to highlight "wipe cache partition"
    5. Long press for 3 seconds to select "wipe cache partition" and confirm your selection
    6. Short press the power button twice to go down the menu to highlight "wipe data/factory reset"
    7. Long press for 3 seconds to select "wipe data/factory reset" and confirm your selection
    8. Select "reboot system now'. Long press for 3 seconds to select
    9. Watch will restart to the Welcome screen. This will take less than 2 minutes.

    And can't get out of this loop

    Please advise

    When everything else fails, a Factory Reset may be the only self serve option. :(

    I did every step above. Just a heads. It was needed to be attached to the charger to work.

    Thanks folks
