So this guy is talking about the 1st generation of the TAG Heuer Connected, today 13th of December 2019 , when people is already talking about the launch of the 3rd gen of the TH Connected... when the 2nd generation of the TH Connected is nearly discontinued and has some features (as being waterproof and not just splash proof) that he is criticizing/missing on the first gen TH Connected... He is really up to date! Is this a “classic smartwatches” revival video? Or is it maybe a Casio publicity spot?
And this guy is talking about the TAG Heuer Connected as an hybrid watch (???) when it’s a smartwatch, not just counting steps! Where are the physical hands or the mechanical movement? OK, maybe the 2nd gen Connected Modular could be considered some kind of hybrid watch because you can swap the smartwatch module with the mechanical module... but he is talking about the 1st gen non-Modular Connected!
What a useless video! He should be better informed before he makes those criticisms... or maybe he is going to talk about the 2nd gen of the TAG Heuer Connected (the Modular) when the 5th generation of the Connected is already on the market!
I just had to post that on his video....
Ive not watched it yet, but the issue I have with the connected is TAG didn't move the world on at all.
The fundamental issues with connected watches, battery life, size, all still there, it's just a very expensive $300 android watch in a fancy case, that might still have power at the end of the say if you don't use it.
The recently announced smartwatch with hands and an eink display seems like a much more interesting thing, tag could have built an electromechanical movement so you effectively had an automatic smart watch, and genuinely differentiated from the rest of the market.
Thank you for sparing me from watching this.
