Bond street is where you go to buy Richard Mille, Patek, Panerai, Hublot, Chopard, IWC and there are really cool art galleries there too. Unfortunately the one with Alec Monopoly stuff in it was shut.

The colors are a bit more muted in person, but overall it isn't terrible.

It's been that way for a few years now. Same with Patek and Nautilus / Aquanauts, or Rolex with anything in steel. It sucks.

Yeah, but last time I went to London they had some Royal Oaks, in fact either last time or the time before they had the hammered gold ones....

2-3 years ago I tried on a RO Vampire in Selfridges... but yeah I doubt even the AP boutique in Harrods has any Royal Oaks now.

They didn't when I stopped in there in either January or February of last year. It's been a problem with popular Rolex sport models for a few years, now extended to all steel Rolex models except a couple of the ladies' models. Then sometime in 2019 or so Patek and AP decided to do the same with their sport models and now you can't even try them on much less buy them at retail. It's a truly shit customer experience - at the very least, keep a demo or two on hand so people can check them out... though I guess it doesn't really matter since nobody who's buying them from retailers actually plans on wearing them anyway ::facepalm2::

Impressive! I couldn't imagine there were so many 6000 different versions!

I have only missed a little more reference to the -IMHO- most iconic and historical of the 6000: the 6000 Senna, which was the first of the TAG Heuer Senna editions, and the only one in which Ayrton was personally involved... the three different sizes of the 6000 Senna are there like any other 6000, simply with the reference numbers, and not even a comment that they are the Senna Limited Edition
But I admit that I’m not impartial ::shy:: because it is one of the watches that I have the most affection ::love::

    Thanks Rob!

Oh really, they should be marked as limited editions, I will correct that, thanks Albert!
