Connery was great, but my favourite has always been Roger Moore. Suave and amusing. The quintissential Englishman abroad.

My favourite Bond is Pierce Brosnan ::bleh:: those were the movies popular when I grew up so for me he will always be the true Bond.

Any watch worn by Bond becomes so cool because a fictional character wearing a watch is so freaking cool am I right!

I only love this Omega because the made up character James Bond wears it in a Hollywood movie ::love::

I don't get it either Jim, and if I was a girl and some guy told me he had the same watch as James Bond I would laugh in his face.

I distinctly remember the last time I watched a James Bond film, it was Christmas 2007. I had just spent three days in hospital and all I could do was lie on the sofa taking painkillers. I saw that 'The Spy Who Loved Me' was on TV and since that was always my favourite (I went to the cinema to see it when I was 7 or 8). So I started watching it but about half way through I started to realise just how poor it actually was. I think if I was going to watch another one it would probably be 'From Russia With Love' if only for the gypsy girls fighting...

OHMSS has one of the best soundtracks, and the story is decent. Lazenby is clearly speaking lines originally written for Connery. Just listen to everything he says, the cadence - it's easy to imagine Connery saying every word. And you know it would have been better!

Lazenby wasn't an actor, he was a fashion model. And he considered the character of Bond stuffy and old fashioned. He didn't really want the job. He wanted to grow his hair and beard, and freakout baby yeah! Never disrespect the institution of Bond!

This is why Craig has gone from hero to zero for me. All that whining and moaning about not wanting to do another movie. And then coming back for the massive paycheck, f-off mate. Casino Royale to Skyfall was golden cinema. Spectre was total crap. And I'm worried No Time To Die will be woke BS.

One of my favourite pieces of Bond trivia...did everybody know that the theme tune for James Bond was actually adapted from an abandoned stage musical song?

I grew up watching Brosnan as James Bond but after doing more research, I’d choose Connery ofcourse, then Dalton/Craig for me  Craig gave a more human side of James Bond while Dalton had a darker side (similar to the Dark Knight series of Batman) which is also great. Craig had alot of benefit with movie/cinematic technology ;) But yes, he’s not the stereotypical image of 007. Dalton who was supposed to shoot Goldeneye was hampered with prolonged legal film law suits. Dalton was also good and I got hooked knowing he wore Heuer/TAG Heuer. (Brosnan also did wore a TAG Heuer I think but in his other action movies)

So the 2nd great James Bond for one might be different from one another  Thanks for your inputs guys! James Bond might be more associated with Rolex or Omega but he wore a Heuer/TAG Heuer once which is good enough for me :)

From Russia with Love is probably the most 'realistic' Bond film. The base plot (UK spies trying to steal a decoding machine) is believable in the real world, although obviously the SPECTRE bit isn't, and the action is pretty good and not over-blown.

Probably the best one-on-one fight scene in cinema too.

    It's my favourite Bond film.
