Yes, my memory was that the Kingsman Connected was launched exclusively through Mr. Porter
I believe so, as they also have a complete wardrobe and accessories around the movie.
They even made a shop in London.
Interestingly, Mr Porter has been selling Zenith watches since October 2015.
The list of brands is constantly growing, from affordable Timex to higher end Vacheron Constantin.
I was surprised to see microbrand Unimatic listed recently, alongside Nomos.
Soon they'll have more brands than well-known grey dealers.
I however find Mr. Porter's prices a notch above the average.
Do you mean the average authorized dealer, the average grey market seller, or other?
Grey market; authenticwatches, jomashop and similar.
And here we go
Spotted a beautiful blue dial Calibre 16, among other things.
They're selling a new Autavia on bracelet for less than they're selling it on the strap?!
The person in charge of data entry got mixed up?
I'm certain you know this, but if you buy from a gray market seller, you don't get the TAG Heuer warranty. You have to use a 3rd-party service to get the watch fixed.
Absolutely, my point was, Mr. Porter - a fashion retailer - is soon going to carry a larger number of individual brands in comparison to other grey market dealers - who only sell watches.
From November 23, 2017, launch of TAG Heuer availability on Mr. Porter. Good overview of the brand from a watch critic:
There comes a time in most men’s lives when they become aware of luxury brands. These days, with the widespread diffusion of social media, it’s probably earlier than it used to be. For me, it was in the early 1990s when I entered my teens. Back then, my peers and I learned of a trio of luxury watch brands that became a sort of adolescent horological holy trinity: Rolex, Omega and TAG Heuer.
Robin (the author) is certainly one of the better watch journos- always enjoy his work and he's a nice chap too.
