Durability of the watch itself i am pretty sure it will last a very long time (Condition apply. Non excessive abusive wearing).

Calibre 16 is base on ETA and its a workhorse of a movement as well as easily service once needed.

Do you think 3rd party can service calibre 16

I live where not really much watchmaker around

If i have to service, i have to wait around 2-3 months

Did you guys service 5-10 years or something happen to the watch?

I am certainly not the expert. But from what i know, most of watchmaker around are certainly comfortable working with ETA movement.

That being said, i always go back to the authorized dealer service center.

Although i have experience from other brand (not Tag Heuer) that even in the service center by the authorized dealer might not be able to repair in house movement.

I never have chronograph watch especially automatic and chrono is really expensive
Sometime 5 years, chrono hand stuck as i read on many forums
So i prefer second hand to learn about chrono but if the watch cannot stand 5-10 years more than i just waste my money and it old model 2013

You'll never use the chrono function. It's not the 1960s. Smart phones are a thing.

Its only worth it on emotional sense. I am too late to become professional racer. But driver on the road while turning on the chronograph function somehow quench my thirst for being racer.

What?! I use the chronograph daily, especially when I'm cooking, so it's not only for wannabe race drivers, but also for the everyday student or wannabe chef!;)

    Okay, fair enough about chronograph
What about a model? Is it worth to worn and to be collect or it must avant grade means new model will always be a winner

This model is not a collector's item, and will further depreciate.
What you need for cooking classes, recording times and notes, is a Carrera Connected.

You decide that entierly for yourself! However, I always buy watches to wear them but that's just me.
I hope that I don't buy into marketing too much, but if Avant Garde is important for you to need to decide what it means for you. Personally, it means that I wear and buy whatever I want and not care what others think of my watches. When I bought my first TAG, people were very keen on trying to get me Omega or Rolex, something that didn't happen. Avant garde is to go your own way.

Well, I've been trying both the Connected 45 and 41 and am actually considering whether I am willing to spend that kind of money on a smartwatch right now.
