The 3hander has a rotating bezel, too. But I think, an inhouse movement for 3hand watches would be a major quality upgrade for Tag Heuer (as Tudor did with their watches).
Maybe shareholders is one word to summarize the price. Ok I need to eat something now, brain not functioning properly
Why? The Aquaracer with Carbon bezel is more expensive. And the new WAY201M.FC6474 is almost the same price, but without cosc movement.
Carbon bezel is something else. I was told it was some sort of limited edition. I didn't believe it at first, until the guy at the Tag Heuer store showed me the case back written limited edition on it. Now, i don't know why it's on the website like normal edition. I have no clue.
I recieved a newsletter this evening that introduced the Autavia. And given the post on Instagram where they showed of Chris Dempsey with an Autavia it really feels like they are being re-launched.
Yes, they are live https://www.tagheuer.com/autavia/?u...ign=TH_NL_AUTAVIA_HEADER&utm_source=TAG_Heuer
"More groundbreaking and more precise than ever, new models completely redesigned for today's adventurers bring Autavia into the 21st century" In what ways are these watches groundbreaking? Also, are they more precise than the H02 Autavia? I dont remember what time keeping spec Tag has for H02 movement
Still rocking my “original” Autavia Isograph. It has become my go to watch. Gets the most wrist time in my collection.
Just my personal opinion, would be more interested in a solid colour dial here. I do like the idea of expanding the Autavia to include some new designs/styles and I do like the price on these which is a bit more aggressive!
Oh Jim, come now... how many non-chrono racing pilot's watches can you name? As for the 'more accurate than ever', well, they're more accurate than they were with those silicon hairsprings in them!
https://www.fratellowatches.com/tag-heuer-autavia-watch-collection-boosted-by-hairspring-upgrade/ Talk about a misleading headline!
Is that guy retarded??? "Thankfully, the LVMH powerhouse has stepped-up with a tried and tested solution — the trusty Caliber 5."
It would make a terrific instagram meme No, i won't do it ! I am still gonna defend my Tag Heuer no matter what
RIP Isograph lol I receiver a marketing email today from TH announcing the new Autavia Collection. Seemed to be the same designs. Only difference is the ‘automatic’ type on the dial rather than Isograph.
Watch media (talking the big sites like this one, Hodinkee, etc., not this page) has to be one of the worst insiders clubs of any industry, everyone is scared to criticise anything, who can blame them, who would want to put their free trips to Dubai and Switzerland in jeopardy?
