They are watching us you know! I had it confirmed today, while talking to Joe in the Cheshire Oaks store, as we were discussing my collection a penny obviously dropped and he said 'Are you on the Calibre 11 forum'. So right there I was outed, not only that but he remembered my comment about the guy in Bicester who tried to tell me the date on the Monaco 24 was the hour register for the chronograph... Turns out they are not allowed to comment on the forum, but they do visit and they use the 'Limited Editions' thread as a source of info. So now we know! I must say, Joe was tremendously helpful today, and really went out of his way to help me out. Sadly I couldn't quite commit to purchasing the watch, which was a real shame and I felt rather gutted for him. But you know what, I'm going to email TAG and tell them how happy I was with the service I experienced today. People only usually contact a company when they've got something to moan about and I think when you feel you've received particularly good service then you should bring that to a companies attention as well. So I'm going to do that right now. If you feel so inclined you can read about my trip to Cheshire Oaks today here... https://tagheuerenthusiast.blogspot.co.uk/2017/10/on-wrist-aquaracer-500m-dive-watch.html
*Obviously what he should have said was 'Are you Rob from 'tagheuerenthusiast.blogspot.com'? By the way that blue boutique edition looks great, have not seen that one before
Yes, there was one on eBay not long ago. But it's got the same strap. I think it must be me. My wrist is very wide and very flat, which makes me wary of ordering anything now that I can't try on.
Less than £700... if you like NATO straps of course. In that picture it looks okay, in real life the green is darker...
An overpaid, idiot footballer. No that far removed from Alec Monopoly or some of the other idiot ambassadors they have.
