How do you guys get your Heuers to "charge" their lume and how long do they tend to last. Have yet to see any glow from my calibre 11 Monaco

It's not very bright, and doesn't last very long on mine.

If it's the same as my previous Carreras, they only use small dots and are barely visible. Lume isn't really a strong feature of most non-diver Tag Heuers I think.

I finally got to see it last night. 10 mins under a lamp and this was what I saw. No idea how long it lasted for. Again not a dealbreaker, I was simply curious. I'll be more concerned when I graduate from college and try to buy my second watch in a couple of years time. I'm a very keen scuba diver having done a lot here in Ireland and around the world. I'd like something pretty serious so either an Omega Seamaster 300 master co-axial on a nato strap (not trying to emulate James Bond!) or possibly a used Submariner. Unfortunately I'll need to get an actual job first!!!!!!! IMG_4231.jpg

As an aside, some kinds of light bulbs are more effective than others at charging lume. Halogen bulbs are quite good...

TH lume is, well, symbolic, so as not to say non existent.
The difference with an actual lumed watch comes to light when I switch to a Seiko diver.

I agree, my seiko monster can remain visible almost all night.
