    Have you checked the Wear OS app on the phone under Notifications that nothing of relevance is blocked?

    I think the watch is supposed to notify anything that hasnt been blocked.

    I don't have that issue, but maybe you're not be alone.

    In the latest Wear OS blog post, Google said it will be reversing some recent changes, as they have apparently had a negative effect on too many people. This may pertain to Android P, but it's worth a look, as maybe you are having a similar issue.

    Have you tried changing the runtime setting of Google Wear app in your phone, to allow it to always run in the background?

    But this is an issue exclusive to the WearOS preview version based on Android 9.0 P which is not even available for the Connected Modular. So, it cannot have anything to do with it.

    I've contacted the developers and informed them of my problem. I live in hope. I've had my watch for over a year now and it's been great. I've had my new S9+ for a week and I love it but I'm hating not getting my calls on my phone. I have literally tried everything I can think of. #gutted

    I'm still struggling and there seems no light at the end of the tunnel. I'm totally stumped by it, it just doesn't make sense that I can receive everything except my calls. Obviously if I find a solution I will post it on here to help others who may experience the same problem.

    What phone did you have before? I believe that this should be a problem with Samsung UX skin on top of Android. I also have a couple of issues with my Samsung from work, but my TAG Heuer Connected 45 is tethered to my private Sony. Guys, if you want seamless integration between your TAG Heuer and your phone you should avoid iPhones, as well as Android manufactures who create heavy skins on top of Android (like Samsung, LG, Huawei, ZTE, Xiaomi etc). There are excellent stock or nearly stock Android phones from Google, Sony, Nokia etc. My Sony Xperia XZ2 has an awesome display, great camera, super fast updates and of course it plays very nicely with my Connected 45.

    I've had no problems using my Connected 45 with my Samsung S8 and switching over to the S9.

    To the OP: are you using the default Samsung dialer? Or a custom one? When you set up your S9+, did you have it restore apps from the S7? If so, it may be an app interfering. It would suck to do so, but maybe try a factory reset on the phone.

    Also, do you get phone call notifications on other devices, like maybe a car Bluetooth connection?

    Maybe your S8 was running Android 7 and your S9 runs Android 8. Generally these skins on top of Android are only trouble. The tech OEMs use them only to lock customers to their respective brands but in fact they are more trouble than useful features.

    Dunno what the default Samsung dialer is but I'll look into it. I did restore apps from the S7. Yes I get calls connecting via the the bluetooth in my car fine.

    Have you checked permissions? Go to Settings->Apps and scroll down to Wear OS. Click on the Permissions button and check that Phone permission is on.

    Thank You so much icwhatudidthere you are an absolute star. The phone permission wasn't turned on. It's been driving me barmy. Now I'm off to cheer on England in the world cup! Thanks again!

    How are you locating apps? In Google Play if you try and search for an app you are presented with lots of results and hardly any of them are compatible making it a huge trial and error job trying to find interesting apps.
