Actually I'm not sure. The problem is that most Wear OS partners are waiting for Qualcomm to release the new smartwatch processor (allegedly the Snapdragon 3100), but TAG Heuer is in collaboration with Intel, who do not seem to have any plans to release any new smart wear processor. That means that TAG Heuer have to either break their contract with Intel and move to Qualcomm, or they have no specific reason to release a new smartwatch together with the rest of the bunch. A new Wear OS version from Google is not a very big motivation for TAG Heuer to release a new model, because most likely, if indeed there is a new Wear OS version coming up, TAG Heuer will most likely update the Connected 45 to this new version. Also if the new version is the one based on the forthcoming Android 9.0, then the preview is already out and it doesn't offer anything groundbreaking.
