Just appear a notification: Android Wear update, connect to wifi.
Thanks; impatiently waiting for mine.
TOP TIP from @pfrasun
I was able to "force the udpate" as well, but did notice that it didn't ask me to reboot after downloading the package. When I rebooted on my own, it didn't apply the update, as if it hadn't completed downloading. So I repeated the process and the watch rebooted on its own (didn't ask me).
Finally, the update applied on system-boot (visible progress bar), but took a loooooong time to complete the reboot. The watch got hot, so there was a lot of processing going on! The risky thing is that it didn't do the check for low battery (I had ~33%). Thankfully it completed successfully, but if you do this, make sure you have enough charge remaining, otherwise you risk "bricking" your watch.
After the update, my watch still only charge to 97%
Thanks for the info tried it and it worked update applied
Weird. Mine charged to 100%.
Mine also went to 100% after update
Got the update, first charge on update went to 100%. Took awhile for the update to download. Was a little laggy immediately following update, but now it's more responsive. After 6.5 hours 76% battery life left with tilt to wake, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and always on screen with auto brightness. About 3.7% battery drain per hour according to wear battery stats. Hopefully this lasts.
Now if I could only get the extra band I ordered from the retailer 6 weeks ago.
This is good news; from what has been reported on this thread, the latest update seems to be providing pretty consistent numbers and improved performance. Keep it coming guys!
Interestingly enough on second charge with new update it only went to 97%
Will monitor for a few days to see
Keep us posted.
My watch tried to update last night when the battery was at 13% and failed. It would not turn back on so I kept pressing the side button until it came back to life. But no request to update after this, and I cannot force it.
Try doing a system reset.
I did the system reset this morning but still could not force the update. I will wait to see if it comes up later today or this week.
OK; hopefully that will work.
First day with the new Firmware: 12 hours and 37% left, not really a big improvement...
I may be one such person. I have the Connected Modular 45. I noticed what looked like a small stain and attempted to use the Cloth to get it out. Upon further inspection, it's a 2mm nick that was becoming a bubble. I immediately requested service and sent my watch to NJ. I'm afraid I may have acted in haste.
Yes, that sounds like the 2nd protective film. They should have added a small indent to make this obvious. I presume this comes from the sapphire manufacturer and is left on during the final assembly.
Ok day 1 with update
Watch charged to 97% overnight
It's been on for 14 1/2 hours and battery is showing 52%

Thank you. Although I regret my hasty action, I'm relieved. I love this watch!
