On a different subject, I raised a ticket for not getting a wall charger in the box. Got a reply yesterday, they are sending it out in the post next week, so if you want one, contact Tag.

I have contacted them as well. Got an email to say it's been passed onto the Tag Conneced Specialist Team.

Two days later I get an email again saying it's being looked into. Three days later and I've heard nothing further. Seems Tag UK falls short of Tag US when it comes to customer service.

I'm in the UK. To be fair they have been pretty good over battery issue and charger with me.

How come you got a proper reply then. Don't know why they are dragging their feet at my request.

I'm in the UK as well, no wall charger, when checked in shop they said they don't come with one, so will be interesting to see response you get from tag uk. Spoke to shop about demo mode, apologised I received it this way, spoke me through how to take it out of demo mode, which didn't work, so they are now checking and will get back to me. Will post up solution when known.

Update: the latest update was installed today and has made no difference to my previously stated issues. Google Play Store app is still missing key apps and Google Maps is still not functioning. Comparing to a friends I've noticed I'm missing a menu icon that appears on the right hand side of the screen when the apps running. Anybody else having the same issue? Is it localised to the 45 and iOS?

    Will get my request in!

To update, I am now up and running, yeh! If anyone else gets stuck in demo mode to get out you have to: swipe from top of screen to bottom as if you were going into settings page. When on that page hold one finger down on the screen, then with another finger tap the screen five times. That should then open the proper settings page where you can reset the watch.

My watch is still showing as security patch from January, not the new March one, but settings says everything is up to date. Do I just keep checking for when roll out reaches me, or will it update automatically please?

    Thanks, off to play now!

Yes, same here with maps, presume its the app rather than the watch, GPS/location appears to be working on Strava app.

Am I missing something here? Where can I find the Google Maps app?

My battery lasted 18hrs pretty much on idle and unworn, but with wifi and bluetooth on and screen set to wake on tilt. So I guess with some reasonable activity, I'd expect this to be reduced somewhat. Wifi also seems to be really slow to connect.

In theory it is found on the Play Store app via a search. But in my case I had to install it via the cloud by logging into my Google account on a desktop. I believe for most people it should appear locally on the watch within the Play Store app and able to download and install directly to the watch.

It doesn't show on the watch. You have to install from another device. There are other apps that don't show on the watch as well. I just download from the iPad.

It did on my friends watch but he's running Android so is that because he has it already installed on his phone and his Google Cloud made the link and it appeared?

Don't know about anyone else, before update with ADB debugging on, I was getting around 25 hours. Since update this morning it's gone down 75% in 7 hours, so think it's back to 10 hours or so for me

Forgive my ignorance but what's ADB dedugging and what's it's purpose?

ADB is the Android debugger-- it's used by developers to help in creating Android and Android Wear apps.

Earlier in this thread there's some information that turning this on is a workaround for a current bug in the watch firmware which is causing many of us to experience degraded battery performance with our new watches.

To enable it, go to settings->system->about and tap on the build number 7 times-- then go back to the main settings menu and you'll have a new menu item 'Developer options'. Scroll down to 'adb debugging' and enable it.

There's supposed to be an update getting rolled out now to address the underlying battery issue.

(Curious as to anyone additionally seeing this update today...I'm in the US, Boston area)
