Gentleman from intel just contacted me. The patch was just posted. 3pm pacific. I'm downloading it as we speak.
Typically through Settings \ System \ About \System updates however this is not yet showing for mine.
Seeking some advice please. My connected arrived today, super happy. It has charged up to 100% but as soon as I put it on the charger the screens came up into some sort of demo mode. I think it is in a shop demo mode setting. As a result it scrolls through various screens. You can swipe through top level screens, but no further. So for example I can swipe down but get a page saying 'quickly change settings', but can go no further. Therefore can not do anything with watch and can not pair to my phone. Does anyone know how I take it out of demo mode please. Getting a bit frustrated now! Thanks for any advice.
Have you tried calling the store that sold it to you? This might help: http://forums.androidcentral.com/as...o-i-do-factory-reset-tag-heuer-connected.html
Not yet, it is now closed, will do tomorrow, just wandering if there was a simple self serve solution! Fiddling my thumbs, new watch and can't use, just being impatient
Check the new link that I posted: http://forums.androidcentral.com/as...o-i-do-factory-reset-tag-heuer-connected.html
Tx all, yes I had spotted that page when searching, the problem is in the demo mode you cannot access the settings, it is all locked down? So you can not get to the option to reset the watch.
I have lodged a ticket with customer support, but if don't hear back before, I will call the shop tomorrow and see what they say!
Been running the new patch for 2 hours and battery consumption is perfect. About 2% per hour. I switched off adb debug before the update to make sure everything is defaulting to the new update. All is well now. The update began to roll out at 3pm pacific. It should roll out to everyone by sat morning. He's calling me back Monday morning for feedback. I'm very impressed by the level of care they are taking. Granted, it makes sense as they don't want issues given the cost of the watch.
Can you post a screenshot of the version numbers, so we can compare when it rolls out in general? (There's an option for 'take wearable screenshot' on the main Android Wear app screen for the watch)
Just got the update here (UK), I'd been getting 25 hours for last 3 days with ADB debugging on, so will be interesting to see what I get post update.
