Good advice. This is exactly what I already had decided to do rather than post on the Omega forums.

I actually like the way it looks with both, just need time to really decide which I like better. But being a solid end link is certainly a plus for the Forstner.

There was a member on OF who was convinced a thinner spring bar would be the answer. Quite what the ridge on the bottom of the end links would be like I don’t know.

seems a lot of hassle. Personally I like both aftermarket options you have shown, with slight preference for the uncle seiko look.

i used to wear my FOIS and ck2998 on the speedy racing bracelet - similar to the bracelet on the 1861 speedy. It doesn’t give that vintage look, but it’s solid and OEM.

Here are 2 oem options. The first is a 1125 bracelet on 560 endlinks (can still be ordered). The second is a 1565/975 speedy racing bracelet (as modelled by me).

Just some food for thought if you were interested

Yes, although the only problem is my OCD nature when it comes to certain details. I'm actually quite happy with both options, I just don't know which I like better because they both look good for different reasons.

Appreciate the feedback and thanks for sharing your pics Steve.

Actually a thinner spring bar was needed to make the 3rd party end links work with the Omega bracelet. The thicker OEM Omega spring bar wouldn't fit with the Forstner and didn't give enough play for the Uncle Seiko. But the pin hole on the FOIS lugs simply don't line up with the 321 end link hole, so a thinner spring bar won't solve it. Anyway, I'm really very satisfied with the setup I have with both options. Although I'm starting to lean back towards the Forstner, as it has a more premium feel being a solid end-link and from a glance looks more like the OEM end link design.

Poor Lando :( People taking opportunity in the chaos and rumbles during a highly intense match. Should’ve been placed “No Spectators” :whistling: I’ve been following closely Euro 2020 & Copa America 2021. Was also rooting for England but too bad, good game though, luckily Argentina won

Relevant & essential questions to keep the ball rolling,
    1. If your team is sponsored by a watch company, is the watch you are mandated to wear (and needs to be seen wearing) automatically yours? Or you need to give it back to the sponsor if your contract expires? Not sure if Lando or RM took the hit on this lost ::confused2::
    2. Do you insure your watches (does it need to?) especially if your watches are at the price range of a upper-tier car? :whistling:

I had a similar thought. The one in the picture looks like a Casio from the nearest KMart.

    Wow! Super nice!

PS: Is there a TAG Heuer watch featured in the book?

From a quick scan of the contents, the TAG Heuer Demogorgon (Pilot) and the Carrera SpaceX 1887 are featured.
