I love it and this is by far my son's favorite watch from this years W&W :D I had to explain to him though that I am not a rapper or basketball player so I will not afford to buy it, nor would I be allowed even if I could afford it.

The boner alert at 12 o clock had not crossed my mind before!

Ferrari and McLaren. Two Formula 1 teams which have a rich history with Heuer/TAG Heuer in the past.
Kimi and Fernando. Two Formula 1 champions who became brand ambassadors for TAG Heuer during their McLaren stint.

Richard Mille dropping Haas F1 & Alfa Romeo F1 teams but retaining their most popular drivers.
I don't see myself fancy RMs in the future  but they have clearly taken the most prominent F1 teams & F1 drivers (atleast my favorites, now I feel old :D)
It's like taking over and building on what TAG Heuer has done in the past. RM making a bold statement in motorsports! And in 2019 to 2020, they have placed themselves above TAG Heuer in terms of sales (although their target markets are totally different) It's quite a phenomenal marketing and rise up in the ranks IMHO. But the designs doesn't still really work for me ::puke::

Can RM stay on top or anything that's up will eventually go down? Time will tell ::book::

I can just dream. Imagine talking to electronic music for a living. Spending your days by the pool drinking whisky, collecting watches and hoes.

Quite liking this new release from Ming, the 17.09:
    ming.jpg

    Specs:
    • 38mm diameter, 10mm thickness, 43.9mm lug to lug
    • Cal. 330.M1 – based on the Sellita SW330-2, with independent hour
    • Modified by Manufacture Schwarz-Etienne, exclusive to MING
    • 42-hour power reserve
Don't really know much about them as a brand, though.

I like their diver. The rarest of them all though. I bet you already know they are Malaysia based company that made Swiss watch. I like the idea of the watch but for the price (if i am not mistaken) i'll be sooner go to Moser.

Maybe this video will help you decide. I think it looks great, but then all the BB58s do. It's really just down to color preference and how much you like the 925 silver alloy. The price premium for a silver alloy watch is very reasonable, especially compared to gold - which is over priced IMO. But for me, I prefer the looks of your blue over the taupe.

I do like the new taupe, but I think I have decided this also. I don't care for the see-through caseback on the 925 and I would miss the bracelet and polished case sides of the BB58B.

Thanks for the video, watched it last night as I suscribe to her channel.

How do you get on with the bb58? I have a real urge to pick up the original bb58 now I've seen the new 844 homage.

When I first got my OG BB58, I wore it pretty much continuously for a year. It was a great daily wearer. Obviously I then swapped to the blue, which I have worn less, but that's partly because I'm not travelling into an office any more (due to covid) and partly because other pieces arrived, like my 160th Carrera. Some days I think I did the right thing switching to the blue. Other days, I really miss the warmth of the OG.

But whichever colour you go for, it's just a great watch. The thickness and aluminium bezel insert give it that vintage Rolex vibe, and the solidity and finishing are excellent. Maybe not quite Rolex standards, but you certainly know this is made by the same people. The movement is faultless and buttery smooth. The size of the BB58 is also perfect and can suit just about any wrist. All in all, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Can't go wrong with the BB58. I think the OG BB58 and Blue BB58 are the two best watches in Tudor's line up. I prefer the looks of them over the new precious metal releases. It's hard to beat their value for the money. I'll add that I'm quite impressed with the accuracy of the movement, mine gains less than +1 secs/day.

This owner swapped the bracelet from the blue. Looks pretty good on the 925.

Don’t think this will work in natural light.

It looks OK there, but agree it probably won't be a great match in all lights. Presume Tudor didn't include a bracelet on the precious metal releases to keep costs down. Bit of a shame, though.

Hard to say, you could be right. But the blue's bracelet is the closest match, as it's a little lighter compared to the OG's bracelet which is a slightly warmer darker steel. I've noticed this difference on the BB Chrono Pandas too; evil panda has a darker steel, while the panda is lighter steel like the BB58 blue.

Got a surprise call  and opportunity to see these in the metal today. :)
It's a bit larger than I'd like for my wrist, but not overly huge. I suppose I could live with it. In pictures, the black dial photographs better to my eyes. But in real life, the white dial really spoke to me. Fortunately or unfortunately, they didn't have the white panda on a bracelet for sale. Otherwise I probably would've walked out with a new watch.
Just as well, since it gives me time to think about it more and see what else might be released this year.
