I’d agree with you sir @Mspeedster  With 007’s true watch and Speedmaster’s original goal. Did you know that it was JC Biver who placed an Omega in 007 and in Schumacher? when he joined Omega for a 10 year stint and made the company profitable once again. He was very instrumental in doing that. Wonder if he also made TAG Heuer profitable during his stint? :whistling:

It’s still a hard pass for me for an Omega or a Rolex. Still lots of things I can think of in Heuer / TAG Heuer ::love::

Yeah, I remember that. It was a genius move by Biver getting Omega placed in Golden Eye and every 007 movie since. It has made Omega gigantic sums of revenue. But for me, having grown up watching Connery as the original Bond, the Seamaster always seemed like a poser's Bond watch. Especially the tacky ones that had 007 stuff all over them. The Schumacher Speedmasters were a bit more appealing to me, being a fan of F1, but I never really considered buying one.

No one lives happy and forever. We either choose to be happy or not  and for me that choice is TAG Heuer :)

Cant be, I dont even care about space traveling that happened when I wasnt even born. Or snoopy. Or Omega. Its just that videos and photos of that watch makes me feel things.

I loved Snoopy as a kid, I vividly remember watching the moon landing and the news drama of Apollo 13. I do like this watch, but I also think for non-watch people it looks like a kids watch with Snoopy on it. Luckily, I'm not under Omega's spell and could take it or leave it.

OTOH, I also vividly remember auto racing in the late 60's & 70's, which was my passion since I was about 6 or 7. If I had to live with only one watch, it would be my C11 Monaco McQueen. So I could stop now if I wanted to. LOL.
