Yes of course that is true, Im just playin
Absolutely, I mean... Pilot watch anyone?
I’m probably going to get myself one, after I’m done with TAG Heuer / Heuer
I used to have a Grand Carrera GMT that was 42.5mm with a plain not very wide bezel, I couldn't get used to the dial, it was MASSIVE.
Exactly. Massive dial, thin bezel. Might as well wear a dinner plate.
I kinda watched the video(HiFi on so no sound) and fast ran the talky bits, I just wanted to see the watches, suspect 2020 will be another year I don’t visit the Rolex AD. Did the guy say anything interesting?
Depends what you mean by interesting..... probably not.
Won't matter, because you most likely wouldn't be able to see the new Submariner if you did. LOL
My local Rolex ADs never have any of the stainless steel sports models in stock. Only time I get to see them is if I visit a grey market or second hand shop.
I remember when the ceramic maxi case Sub was released; back then I could actually walk into an AD, try on the watch and buy at it's retail price. Boy how times have changed.
I was all in, until he started waffling on about the historical inspiration from the 70s. FFS, can we not just have a BRAND NEW watch for once? Your obsession with the past is doing my ******* head in!!!
Gotta say though, the mechanical interlude gave me a good laugh watches tv always makes great productions
Oh come on. I felt he meant inspiration from the 70s Sprint model in terms of market segment niche. The new Endurance Pro looks nothing like the 70s Sprint, which to me kinda looks like the Heuer Montreal of that era.
To me it is clear that they are now following a similar model as TAG Heuer. They now have comparable offerings and pricing models.
Great observation! Agree sir @Hubert
AIR, LAND & SEA. They have ruled the airspace for too long with 3 offerings (Navitimer, Aviator & Avenger) similar to TAG Heuer’s motorsport legacies (Monaco, Carrera & Formula 1) Now with the Autavia being positioned somewhat as a Pilot / Adventure watch.
As a respected Swiss brand which have become an ally of TAG Heuer making Project 99, I also want to see Breitling move up its game! Very interesting offerings
I don't own any Breitlings, but I do find their recent collections, much more appealing in recent years. I attribute some of this to STÉPHANE LINDER, who moved to Breitling, after TAG Heuer.
This is somewhat vaguely familiar..
Hehe yes and the Autavia is sooo much more brilliant than those garbage pieces
Yes lets hope that some brands continue to innovate and produce new stuff. Wonder what people will love in 40 years? Probably it will be re-re-editions of re-editions released now...
Marchand watches are a British brand based in Cambridge offering Motor Racing inspired watches infused with Swiss Heritage.
Marchand watches are British brand based in Cambridge offering Motor Racing inspired watched completely ripped of from TAG Heuer
Really? They remind me of two other watches (I don't remember which ones ), but surely it is pure coincidence and chance
