I dissagree but lets not jump into that discussion here again.

I am extremely happy though that Kern's initial strategy does not seem to work 100%. He said the Schneider logo would go, it came back for "sports" models. He said he would kill quartz since its not a luxury thing, now new quartz models are introduced. He killed breitlight, now it is back.

Yes he's made some mistakes, but he's learning and made adjustments. Overall, I like what I see and I think Kern's on the right track now.

The re-editions have received high praise from the industry and appeal a great deal for those of us that like retro/vintage. But I feel this new Endurance Pro also shows that Breitling is still trying to keep buyers like you happy as well.

I just think the Endurance Pro is quite pricey for quartz, even if it's "super quartz". The TAG Heuer F1 almost looks like a bargain in comparison.

Maybe true but if Tag were to introduce a composite case HAQ chrono F1 I guess it would be close to the same price

It must suck to be a Rolex fan, every few years you get a new watch that looks almost exactly like the old one but maybe slightly bigger. Still, it holds its value and that's the (only) important thing

That seems to be the way they like it though. That said, the Fratello article, you linked to, was complaining about the diameter and bracelet increases.

If Rolex ever step into the 21st century and add AR coating to their crystals I could see myself rocking an Oyster perpetual 36 as a daily office piece (not in any of these new pride parade colors though, would probably go for the white)
