    Well, the watch ran down but the problem hasn't gone away, I have suggested she doesn't wind the watch and does the Seiko shuffle instead.

    This is the watch I had when I was about 18, (1988)... it's a GUL Viper, I've been trying to find a picture of this for ages and finally got one. Mine was steel, silver with black printing and it came on that velcro strap at the bottom. Doesn't half look like a Formula 1, don't you think? They ripped the bezel straight off. No wonder I like them with that kind of deep seated memory.
