It does look a bit like a big Tank case from Cartier.
More Cartier "Drive" dont you think?
This is an awesome initiative! I will look into which dates I might be able to go!
^ If you end up going Jim, you have to share your pics and videos with us!
More Zeniths in store now, my Zenith full post will be published on Saturday (we have something too important to move on Thursday...) but here's a teaser...
Like the big crown gmt, I think.
I found this watch at auction on ebay. Anybody know the significance of the hour symbols?
I'm not bidding....just curious.
Monsanto was some American agricultural biotech firm so maybe it has something to d0 with them.
The real Ken Miles chronograph as an LE re-edition announced by Georges Kern. Stunner!
Kills me that we never got an Autavia re-issue that was this faithful in design.
This watch has my interest and would go nicely with my Navitimer. But the price is too expensive for me, will probably wait for a pre-owned sometime far in the future (if I remain interested).
Yeah, I wish TH's re-editions were as faithful. This one has an in-house movement modified to be hand wound, just like the original.
BTW, I just got Ford v Ferrari on Blu-ray. There's a nice close up of the movie's Ken Miles with his Autavia in the Extras.
That looks like a 2446 with a Tachymeter bezel.
For that money I would probably prefer the Breguet Type XX.
'Who was first with this (superb) design is still today a point of debate.'
The new Breitling 765 AVI 1953 re-edition is starting to push harder on my want button. At its price range, I'd also have to think about the new Omega "No Time to Die" James Bond Seamaster. Both are more money than what I'd want to spend, but since I'm dreaming, curious which one you guys would choose?
My pick would be the Omega. The Breitling brings no emotion to my heart
I don't like Breitling at all, but this re-edition made me swoon.
That Breitling looks great, however the NTTD Seamaster Omega is already on my wishlist, nonetheless the new Ed White 321 Speedmaster comes first.
^The Ed White is awesome, however its $14k price tag puts it in a different league for me compared to the Breitling 765 Avi or 007 Seamaster.
