I’m down to £1700, seemed good but haven’t researched too much, looking at that as a purchase it felt like I was cheating on my TH collection.

Oh shit that is a really good price! Nothing to think about, you could use a little adventure on the side of your Tag collection, as long as you come back to us and don't join some weird B&R dedicated forum instead ;)

That is a stock photo so do make sure to get photos of the actual watch.

That’s a stock picture I sourced to show here, had the watch in my hand, on my wrist yesterday, just feel at 42mm + lugs it is too big, it’s edge to edge on my wrist and the strap is maybe 75% through the buckle.

Chatting to my IFA today who says it’s time to spend some of the hoarded cash but wife says he didn’t mean buy ANOTHER watch, why not! :whipped:

I have this thought in another post, my wife would another alternative (or two) holidays or a kitchen extension. Get a grip woman, you only need room for one person in a kitchen, the cook, and later the washer up(me)

Hublot have launched a Big Bang with an integrated bracelet at Dubai Watch Week, but doesn't this just make it look like a Royal Oak? And as a Royal Oak costs about the same, is that a good thing?

Design cues from a Royal Oak crossed with a Skeletonised Tag Carrera 01. Afraid I've never been a fan of Hublot.

I find that as one gets older, ones tastes become more refined. And I prefer the word vintage to old...

Few years back I had these 3 as my daily rotation. Only kept the Omega but it was a nice trio!!

That doesn't make sense to me, all these other companies making Royal Oak lookalikes are significantly cheaper.... why pay about the same money for a look-a-like?

Maybe Hublot has a fanbase of its own and there might be people who would gladly choose that one  I know internet has taught us all that the Royal oak is legendary but I still believe in people, there are still those who dare to walk their own path in life

To be honest, hublot is kinda growing on me.

I think they made some great watches.

Love their discontinued Oceanographic. A monster of a watch. Too bad the preowned one still very much expensive.
