^ As you can see from the video, the dome is low, so you still get a bit of the edge distortions that many like, with very negligible loss of visibility.

Yes! And my first week with the BB58 has taught me that I can live with some crystal reflections if the rest of the watch is superb. Pretty sure the crystal would not be a deal breaker for me with the Omega. Price is though! So maybe the 41mm Seamaster 300 is a better alternative for me. We will see.

Got to see the new Collective Horology IWC LE tonight.

It’s really really well done. The kind of design that won’t likely overstay its welcome…

I really like what they did with this one. Some subtle changes and it went from dressy to a cool tool watch. The price difference was reasonable as well. I thought they, the Collective, did a killer El Primero as well.

Yeah, that El Primero is what put them on my radar initially. I'm not a member but I may try and see if I can get my hands on this one, I've been eyeing a Pilot chrono for a while. I think I still prefer the Spitfire overall, but it would be a bit too similar in looks to my Doppelchronograph so I've held off thus far.

The 41mm Pilot Chronograph is the right size IMO - would still love to see a new 39mm reissue of the 3706 proportions, but these wear excellently!

According to my wife's magazine (Red - November 2021)...

In a cosy autumnal pallet of rich caramel and chocolate brown, Tudor's new watch the 'Black Bay 58 Bronze', certainly got the seasonal memo. Worn with a shearing Bomber jacket and flashing under a frilly shirt cuff, it instantly completes the 'off duty' 1970s aesthetic. With a chunky chain strap that feels more like jewellery, but still with the boyish edge of this unisex design, this wrist watch makes for a refreshingly new, subtle, everyday style to complement your morning coffee run.

Our friends at the time and the tide has made a pretty cool Zenith! Luckily limited to 100 pieces so all who want it will not be able to buy it

I don't think price will be an issue for potential buyers as is the case with most purchases in this hobby.

Nice shot of the James Bond watch in 'From Russia with love', I suspect @Mspeedster approves this as a proper Bond watch

Is this where he pulls an implausible length of wire rope out of the watch case....

No, that was the Spectre agent's watch.

This was from the scene when Bond checks the time just before the explosion goes off and they steal the Lektor. (See 30 sec mark.)
