Montblanc Summit 2 available now.
Interesting! Same screen (390x390) and memory as in the TH CM 41...
I like the chrono pushers and crown. I hope that the next TAG Heuer Connected has the same.
Hope so. I picked up a Gen 4 Fossil smartwatch. Having Google Pay available with one click of the chrono pusher is great. The rotating crown isn't as big a deal though. Heart rate is nice to have too with the updated Fit features.
I will say the Snapdragon 2100 and the whole Fossil smartwatch platform (which likely is the same for most of the 2100 based watches) is definitely a poorer experience compared to the Intel in the Tag. The vibration motor in the Tag is nice and precise and the touch screen much better.
I just don't like the whole MB design. Not even one single feature that makes some of their analog watches such as the Timewalker a great looking watch. I just don't get it.
I agree. It's faceless. Once you get one of the TAG faces on it, it will be nothing more, but fake TAG.
Garmin MARQ Driver... I like it because it has 250 racing tracks (including the Nürburgring-Nordschleife) in the memory, but 2.500$ is too much
^ Looks good, but I agree about $1.5K too expensive.
There's a good write up on the marq range (which is 5 watches, from $1500 to $2500) from DC Rainmaker: https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2019/03/garmin-marq-series-detailed-overview-hands-on.html
Once again garmin are winning at battery life, 12 days in watch mode, 28 hours with GPS tracking turned on. Imagine getting 28 hours from a connected watch!
DEFO RIGHT OPINION
Huawei smartwatch with obvious Carrera cues
^ moved your post here.
Great article on the history of smartwatches. The seiko data 2000 is my favourite:
Hublot appears will issue another smart watch.
Hublot, an LVMH brand alongside TAG Heuer, released its own smartwatch today. While Hublot is known for producing large watches, this Hublot Big Bang E Black Ceramic is 42mm and smaller than the recently-released TAG Heuer Connected 2020 at 45mm. I was almost certain Hublot would make a 50mm open-dial smartwatch, because, you know, Biver.
I cant find any photo or video of the caseback, I guess its because this one also has China engraved on the back finally a genuine Hublot made entirely in China?
Buy more watch faces in the Hublot store? Does Tag do that as well and charge money for additional watch dials?
We already have a thread for this. Merging posts.
Really like this new design. At 6k USD, only a true sucker would buy this.
