I like the leather WAY more than the rubber, it fits the sort of mean-ness of the overall design aesthetic. That watch is just pornographic, absolutely love it.

Are there any lume shots around @D.C?

Looks fantastic, although I wish it was a little more Heuer-01 in its skeletonness.

I like it as well, but prefer the look of the regular model over the phantom limited edition.

Looking good David. Were you able to see the regular (non phantom) model, or the leather strap? Looking forward to reading your interview.

Great review of the Heuer 02:

    http://www.salonqp.com/updates/up_close/tag-heuer-calibre-02-tourbillon/

The calculation has evidently been made that there’s a clientele out there who may well buy into the sporty mythos of TAG Heuer, but long for something more outré, more complex and spectacular – the kind of thing you need “Hublotista” spending power to own.

Now you don’t. You can get it for £12k in a watch that is genuinely fascinating, and pulsing with character and wrist presence.

Great review and pics; thanks for posting. That leather band looks fantastic. I should call TH to try to order one for my Heuer-01.

Yes, if you want a gold, that's the one to get. Though my favorite is the standard Titanium.

Kind of wish there was a bracelet option too, particularly on the gold ones, but not normal Carrera style, either something new and modern or something old school like the Carrera grains of rice style.

    They're out in July.

Not sure on distribution per country, but usually the UK would be the second of third largest TAG Heuer market. Whether they've all been pre-sold is another question!
