It’s just the angle & the fact that the leather is really really stiff.

I’ve treated it with leather balsam over night & manipulated the hell out of it this morning.

It’ll take a while for it to break in though.

I could easily go a notch bigger but it’s too big then.

On most videos they only wear one glove? I guess its a way of trying to look fancy pancy

In almost all his videos for Watchbox reviews (formerly Watchuwant), Tim Mosso does not wear gloves, particularly since he wears the watches on his 6 1/3 inch (16 cm) wrist. In his videos for Govberg Watches, he usually wears two gloves. Starting in 2018 (I think), he is apparently splitting the difference and is wearing one glove.

Great article on the upcoming Baselworld 2018 with a brief mention of the Autavia.

    http://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/should-you-buy-a-new-watch

Notwithstanding its contemporary credentials (including the use of highly resistant yet ultra-smooth silicon in its chronometer-rated movement) the [Ulysse Nardin] Torpilleur speaks to the current trend for “neo-vintage” perfectly without complicating the matter with decades-old innards or possibly “faulty” provenance – the perfect antidote, then, to the dangers both apparent and hidden in the undergrowth of the vintage market.

In the meantime, both Montblanc and TAG Heuer (which recently re-editioned an Autavia based on a version worn by the German racer Jochen Rindt after polling 50,000 Heueristi via its website) offer a similar approach to achieving that desirably “aged” look in a modern watch.
