    That's what I've now read.

3000 of each watch model as separately sold pieces and then 557 of each included in trilogy sets. So 3557 of each model. More than I first thought I'd read, which is cool.

Exciting day. Off to pick up & get fitted the BOR bracelet to my Autavia.

The main reason is because the leather strap is too short for my large wrists. Given the size & chunkiness of the watch, the small strap seems strange.

I will look at getting a replica leather strap made in more manly proportions.......

Have you asked if TAG Heuer/AD can order a longer strap. AFAIK, TAG do make longer straps but they need to be ordered.

Pleased. They are going to ask about a longer leather strap too.

I took a little trip around the city and ended up paying the deposit for an Autavia. So if everything goes according to plan I expect to pick it up in a week!

I'll make sure to keep you updated! And since this was/will be the first expensive watch I'v ever bough it might also be a nice little unboxing of it, depending on how I feel. The TH boutique has already given me a very nice and luxurious experience and I hope this will be reflected also when I pick up the watch!

Your measurement of case thickness is "rounded up" to 16mm (more precisely 15.4mm), both measured the 'standard model', with the crystal movement. The newly released Jack Heuer, Limited Edition (1932) has a metal design and "appears" to be slightly slimmer. Please insert new measurements, greatly appreciated.

I don't get why so many people keep bashing the Autavia based on its size. Sure, 42mm is not the "original" size, but it's a size that works toady. When it comes to the height I've realised that that's not so much of an issue. 15.4mm is rather high compared to some other sports chronographs, but not high enough to be a problem during everyday wear IMHO.

Popped in to my local AD in Swansea. Where they fitted my BOR bracelet in October.

The longer than standard leather strap is available for men with proper sized wrists so I’ve ordered one.

Will be nice to swap & change :)

Ha, I clearly don’t have very “masculine” wrists as can be seen in my wrist shots, but I like the fact that TH offers the strap also in smaller sizes which helps me a lot and looks so much better.

I did the same thing as you, got it on the bracelet and then bought the strap afterwards. A really nice thing thing since it now can be fitted for both my sportier and dressier moods!

I had to breath in just looking at the picture!

Surprised though how often I see “crimped” wrists from straps and bracelets in photos.....maybe I just have a lack of excess material on my wrists
