    I just purchased a new carerra calibre5
    WAR211AFC6180

The crown is very difficult to turn clockwise in position 0 (to wind), yet easily turns counter clockwise. Otherwise it is fully functional.

Is there something wrong with the watch or is this normal?

Hello, I don't know if it's normal or not, but it happens to me also. The crown is really hard when I need to wind the watch. please let us know if you find the answer!

Just let it unwind fully until it stops and try again, maybe that helps?
But I must admit, I hardly wind my calibre5 in my Aquaracer 500M Ceramic, I just swing it a couple of times sideways and that is that, put it on the wrist and let it wind by its rotor, which works fine for me.

I usually wound my carrera but yeah aquaracer is one of the most easy to turn on automatic out there. sometimes i just re arranging things and my aquaracer suddenly came to life.
