    Hey guys,
I’m trying to fit a new bezel insert on my Tag 1000. I’ve tried heating it up and removing it but that didn’t work. If anyone on here knows how to switch the bezels please let me know, I really appreciate it. Thanks!

If you find out pop up the solution here please, I was cleaning the lume dot and I think I’ve pushed it into/under the bezel.::facepalm1::

While you're at it, how do you get the bezel off a 2000 Exclusive? I'd love to polish mine but I'm scared of scratching the glass.. I've seen some videos explaining but it doesn't seem to want to come off (I did read that some watch bezels come off easier than others mind you).

lol I have A LOT of experience removing bezels. I have multiple different tools. And even I have issues with it sometimes. Exclusives are pretty easy tho. I'm surprised you've having an issue. What are you using to remove it, that could scratch the sapphire crystal?

I meant if I tried to polish it in situ... I saw a video where someone was using like a blunt blade, which I tried but it didn't work - maybe I didn't give it enough leverage but I didn't want to damage anything. It also seemed to compress the point on the underside edge of the bezel and I didn't want to risk any further damage.

I used an old blunt bladed pocket knife for certain ones. Hell, sometimes I can remove the bezel with my fingers... But I use a crystal remover tool for bezel removing.

for years, I didn't even KNOW it wasn't supposed to be a bezel remover tool lol. That's what you get for having a master watch maker of 60 years, as a father, who grew up in soviet era Ukraine. Everything, was used as something else.

Thanks Jim. I reached out to Tyler and he helped me out. For anyone wondering, he said that you have to pry out the lume plot and get out the insert from there. He also mentioned heating it and prying it out but said that usually doesn’t work. Hope this helps!
