Has anyone tried fitting the 21mm Aquaracer sailcloth strap to an Autavia?

Interesting, hadn’t thought of this combo. I do however have this strap so may give it a go...

If that works, it would be well suited for a Bamford Autavia.

Put the strap on earlier; few photos. Looks good with a nice match of the blues.

That looks great  I'm looking for a lighter strap for the watch during summer down here...I think you've just sold me!

Happy to be of help. The only thing I will say is these style of straps need a fair bit of breaking in - more so that some stiff leather straps. For me, they took ages to become supple and comfortable.

I found the opposite, instantly comfy, still comfy 6 months later.

Looks good on the autavia, reminds me a little of some of the planet oceans.

I think it’s my wrist shape and it took a while for it to contour to it. It’s fine now but it took far longer than some very stiff leather Alpina straps I had to break in.

The Aquaracer the strap came with has been on a bracelet 95% of the time so it will be good to test it out on the Autavia.

Do the blues match up OK, or would you recommend the standard strap with black stitching?

They match up fine for my taste but the stitches are more azure in palette. Put it another way - they match better than the GMT hand matches the (half) blue bezel on the GMTII.

If you want complete matches I’d get the black stitching - all depends how much difference you can put up with :)

The most accurate colour reference is the photo of it being held.

I bought this strap for mine last year but decided it didn't quite suit as a colour match, for me at least. I considered trying to darken the blue stitching, but thought better of it!

They did a white stitch version didn't they? Maybe that or the black would work better....
