Hi All, I have a chance to purchase a Heuer 2446C Autavia.
All checks out and I have seen the watch and looks good.
Just one thing I was concerned about was the Bezel and how it turned.
Not having ever handled a Vintage Autavia or the like before, I was a little surprised at how easily the bezel turned, with no real resistance.
It didn't feel loose or anything, just turned much easily compared to my modern Autavia's I own.
I presume that is to be expected but wondered how others felt in compairsm but not having anything to compare with I thought I would ask the experts at Calibre 11.
Can anyone out there give me a little advice based on having the same or similar Autavia.

    Thanks

I don't own a 2446C, but despite using the compressor case this was not a dive watch - an easily turned bezel shouldn't raise a red flag unless it's loose and will seemingly come off.

Thanks - yeah I suppose it wouldn’t need to be a rigid as a dive watch bezel.
Just there just doesn’t seem to be much resistance so thought that might be abnormal.
Thanks for the advice though, it makes sense.

    Cheers
