    It's about time for flyback.

Longines has been offering flyback chronograph for very reasonable price. So does Frederique Constant.

Well, there was the Calibre 36 Flyback (El Primero 405) but that was rather expensive at RRP.

Actually, I think we are at the end of the line for Calibre numbers being displayed on dials- I'd expect from now on that they'll switch back to "Automatic" or "Isograph"...or no text at all.

Best case scenario that makes everyone happy:

    - modern: Autavia Isograph 3-hander avaition/pilot collection
    - modern: Autavia Isograph chrono collection
    - heritage: Autavia heritage design that’s closer to its 1960s counterparts in size and proportion

I guess it could be like what happened with the Cal. 02 Carreras and the fragment Carrera LE.

    Pleasure!

Probably my favourite photo of the new Autavia Isographs from Baselworld- photo by @fonzitromboni via @dailywatch 401E1A3C-7C7C-498F-8F65-6F3B31C819BD.jpeg

Good... never really quite understood the point of it it if I'm honest. Labelling a ley feature (ie chronometer) a better approach

Even Automatic seems unnecessary. I know which of my watches are automatic and which are quartz, I don't need an essay on the dial to remind me.

It's a bit like IWC naming the display windows on their annual and perpetual calendars.

Let's go back to basics with 'watch' on the dial

That would save me a lot of time when people stare at my wrist asking "what is that???" :D

Well, i think Rolex made famous text on the dial. If you notice, Rolex wrote everything on the dial. From their famous "oyster perpetual" to the series name like "datejust" "submariner" "deepsea" etc to "official certified", etc etc.

Yes, the Daytona takes the prize for having 'War and Peace' on the dial.

Side profile of case looks good and wearable.
