Fantastic review David! Excellent as always!
Can't wait to get mine!
Great look and article, these pics do this watch justice. Some of what I have seen online elsewhere seem a bit cheesy with the lighting. Question, I have the Autavia with the leather strap. I can't seem to find the rice bracelet anywhere as a option to buy. Is that feasible?
The bracelet is possible to buy afterwards if you contact your local TAG store, but apparently costs a smaller fortune to buy afterwards. That's also the reason to why most people recommend to always buy on the bracelet and then buy leather/other straps to save in a few bucks.
Well at the time, this was a no brainer to buy, so if the bracelet is a fortune it won't hurt as bad. Thanks, i can't find it on the TH site anywhere.
Tag are not great at showing optional accessories etc. Just go to your local dealer and give them the watch model and ask them for the steel bracelet and they should be able to see it in the system.
The Jack Heuer limited edition has a special metal casebook instead of the crystal showcase of the regular 2017 Autavia. Are there any differences in the overall thickness of the respective watches?
I believe I measured them both to be the same thickness on the prototypes I had, as the showcase back is rather slim.
Just read the in depth review article.
Great review as always. Makes me want to buy one...as always.
Timing is everything..... Just snagged number 34 of 1932. Pick it up next Tuesday and I cant wait.
Nice, don't forget to share some pictures if you please.
Happy birthday Jack!
It's finally here!
Congrats. Like the lume!
Congrats Hubert. Worth the wait eh...
Yes, I was just coming indoors after some sunlight, so I had to quickly take a shot with the phone. Sorry it's a little blurry.
Thank you! Yes, its a lovely watch!

Congrats Hubert...can we have a shot of your collection?
Hi Hubert or any other owners can I please ask you how loud the movement is on your watch?
I’m new to these kind of watches and have just purchased the 85th Birthday edition today. However I am noticing it to be a bit louder than my 43mm Skeleton Heuer01 watch that I have had for a few months now.
If I move my wrist fairly fast I can hear the movement quiet clearly (hard to explain but a bit like a hissing noise) for a few seconds before it stops. I had never noticed this sound before on the Skeleton watch I have.
Can you tell me if this is normal or if I may have a faulty one please.
I know I have asked this in a couple of threads now but am just seeking peace of mind that this is normal. I apologise if this is annoying anyone.
I will try to take some shots over the weekend.
Here's one of the two siblings in their new home.
