Not a great photo, but the new dial looks really good
For those who don't like square watches, but love the McQueen Monaco
Interesting! Looks really good! TH really knows how to make blue watches.
Lovely blue. I agree that picture probably doesn't do it justice.
Photo from Ace Jewelers- Limited Edition of 600 watches; expected price of EUR4,700 on sale in July
Very, very tempting. I have the JH80 and the anthracite model already, but this is a really special color, which in conjuction with the limited edition, makes it a very desirable piece.
Will this be a "TH Boutique only" model again?
Not sure. I see that this one has the standard Calibre 17 movement rather than the COSC version found in the boutique edition
Very pretty design, is there any indication from JCB that the Calibre 17 / piggyback chronograph models will continue long term if the Calibre Heuer 01 is available with a 3-6-9 and by extension 3-9 layout as that would get the sub-seconds at 9 and minute register at 3 like the classic models used to have
Thanks, that explains the price reduction.
By "the boutique edition", are you referring to the other two Calibre 17 models, the CV5111.FC6335 and the CV5110.FC6310? I don't see any indication of COSC certification, either on the dial or on the Tag Heuer catalog webpages (under "MOVEMENT" of each watch).
On the other hand, the Carrera Calibre 8 GMT has COSC certification, clearly. The dial says "Officially Certified", and the webpage says "C.O.S.C. certified automatic watch".
Correct: "Chronometer" = COSC
I still don't understand why those two Calibre 17 models don't call out the COSC certification. Not everyone knows what "Chronometer" may imply. The Calibre 8 GMT clearly says "COSC" on its webpage, but the Calibre 17 models do not.
Any word on the availability?
I have a friend who has ordered one and was told July- August
Thanks David. Please ask you friend to post some pictures upon delivery; I'm sure most of us would love to see them. Thanks!
