    HI Everyone:

What a pleasure it is to find this forum! Thanks for letting me join up!

I would love to find a reasonable-facsimile of a beads-of-rice bracelet to fit my 11063V Autavia. I am not going to try to find the original GF bracelet (I am not that much of a dreamer) but I wondered if anyone had found any sources for a decent-looking substitute. To further complicate things, this particular case is really 21mm rather than 20mm, so that makes it hard to find the right end pieces.

So, that's my challenge is to put together a reasonably original-looking package of bracelet and end pieces...but for an unusual lug size. Crossing fingers that someone has done this before me...and I will be delighted to share my findings once I find something myself. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and

    Best

    Andy

They are around but cost more than watch itself now, due to much greater scarcity.

Keep on eye on http://www.chronocentric.com/forums/chronotrader/ new and used generic BoR bracelets are advertised there regularly.

    And

a photo of your Autavia for our delectation is obligatory. Were you not told this when you signed up?

Keep an eye on Squinky - http://stores.ebay.com/squinky

He's got a few BoR bracelets right now, but I think they're 20mm. Still, that's one of your most likely sources

Hi Andy, the 11063 would typically have been on a Jubilee bracelet and not a BoR. They are much cheaper overall and they do crop up from time to time on the usual online auctions. The end links are still the issue, they are far rarer to find with those attached!
    Best of luck,
    Steve

Hello Andy, I second Steve's comment: it was not a BoR, but a jubilee for the last real Autavias. Jubilees are more common although not really easy to find.
Probably the easiest option is to get an unnamed jubilee bracelet with a 22mm end links and patiently file them down to 21.
Don't expect it to fit perfectly on the case, but rest assured that after a while also the original OEM bracelet end pieces tend to bend down, so it'll just it a more "worn" look.
Otherwise, a 22mm tropic style a bit squeezed in the lugs, or also a NATO strap if you can find one that is substantial enough for this heavyweight watch.
    Cheers,
    Fabrizio
